Dr Matthew How is a General Paediatrician who holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Monash University and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).  He has broad experience having trained predominantly at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney, before returning to Melbourne to complete advanced training in general paediatrics.  He is a member of the Neurodevelopmental and Behavioural Paediatric Society of Australia (NBPSA) and he is undertaking further training in child and adolescent psychiatry. 

Matthew is highly dedicated to providing excellent clinical care to children.  Bringing clear communication and a gentle and empathic approach, he enjoys working collaboratively with families, supporting and cheering on parents as they navigate their child’s health journey. 

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time with his young family, playing music and tennis.  As a Hobson’s Bay local, Matthew is excited to be joining Williamstown Specialist Centre.
